I started this baking adventure over five years ago. Along the way I married my fabulous husband Dave. Now he too is not only obsessed with cupcakes but is the lead baker! We have a storefront in Montecito and consider ourselves truly blessed. We both do what we love to do... and that has been our secret recipe for success!

My name is Wendy Jones. Our story is a bit different than most cupcakeries these days. My grandmother didn't give me her secret recipe and I never really like cupcakes when I was a little girl. What I did love was creating things that were different and truly unique. This store has been an on going dream of mine for years. I have always had a passion for designing and was inspired by the story of Willy Wonka as a young girl. It was and still is my favorite film. There is a part in that movie that I refer to quite often... it's when the little boy asks the candy store worker how Mr. Wonka does it... how does he make the scrumdidilyumptious bar? The worker replies with:
